Maturity is learning to walk away from people and situations that threaten your peace of mind, self-respect, values, morals or self worth.

Lessons

Maybe some people just aren't meant to be in our lives forever. Maybe some people are just passing through. It's like some people just come through our lives to bring us something: a gift, a blessing, a lesson we need to learn, and that's why they're here. . . you'll have that gift forever.

Life is messy

At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don’t keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That’s how we’re made. So you can waste your life drawing lines, or you can live your life crossing them.

The impossible

It sucks when you know that you need to let go but you can't, because you're still waiting for the impossible to happen

Heard,Loved and Honored

What if each time you experienced an emotion, you acknowledged it, accepted it, and became curious about its message for you (instead of trying to make it go away or make it last longer)? Imagine how this could change your life. Imagine how heard, loved, and honored you would feel if you really listened to yourself.

I will not beg

I will not beg you for your time or try to convince you to choose me, the world is too big and I have too much to offer.

Walk Away

At some point you will realize that you have done too much for someone, that the only next possible step to do is to stop. Leave them alone. Walk away. It's not like you're giving up, and it's not like you shouldn't try. It's just that you have to draw the line of determination from desperation. Regarding relationships, I have just one rule: Give me truth, however cold or cruel, or hard it is to hear. I would prefer to have my heart bled and broken if it means I can then move on, than waste a single moment of my time being fooled by a lie intended to preserve my feelings.

Forgiveness

Sincere forgiveness isn't colored with expectations that the other person apologize or change.
Don't worry whether or not they finally understand you. Love them and release them.
Life feeds back truth to people in it's own way and time- just like it does for you and me.

Your Battle

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all.  Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
